 Elida is a full-time student who is currently attending Florida Southwestern College. Elida is obtaining her AA degree in general studies to transfer to the University of South Florida to study biology. After completing her studies, she plans to pursue a career in Neurology. As a future neurologist, she hopes to dedicate her knowledge and experience to aid those who can not afford or access medical attention in her home country, Honduras. Elida believes the most important part of this field is the opportunity to impact a patient's life positively. Elida finds fascinating the anatomy of the brains and how precise it is. 

Elida is also interested in Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Psychology, and Fitness. She manages to work part time as a front desk receptionist at Esporta Fitness where she is working towards gaining a personal trainer certification. Elida is interested in being a personal trainer because she finds it essential to help and motivate members of Esporta to become their best version of themselves and achieve their fitness as well as personal goals. She wants to be an advocate for discipline and hard work. Elida is also interested in creating nutrition plans to have a healthier lifestyle. Additionally, she also promotes the importance of living a balanced lifestyle as well as the importance of mental health. 

Elida also is involved in her community; monthly she gives out food at Lions Park, and contributes to food drives. Elida demonstrates empathy and compassion when interacting with others and she will make it her priority to treat everyone she encounters with respect and dignity as she reaches her goals. Elida is a dedicated and disciplined student and she will work hard towards achieving her goals.
